Harbour’s Showroom and Specification Manager, Patryc Lampasi spoke to Kristine Yeats from KY Design&More about being the designer and architect for the Hayman Island Resort, in particular the premium Beach House, following the devastation of Cyclone Debbie. Kristine’s brief was to ensure that all indoor and outdoor furnishings selected could organically fit into the sophisticated, beach-side lifestyle of Hayman Island and most importantly, withstand tropical conditions.

Harbour is renowned naming its collections after coastal environments in Australia and overseas. Ironically, Kristine specified products from Harbour’s existing ‘Hayman’ collection, providing that unique sentiment for Harbour’s involvement in the overall project

With its angular lines and plush seating, the collection was made for Hayman Island living – available in natural teak or powder-coated aluminum.
