Like any fine-painted surface, such as an automobile, routine washing with mild soap and a non-abrasive cloth or sponge, and clear rinsing will keep your painted furniture looking new.

• Stainless steel is commonly known as rust-free steel (RFS) or Inox. This is a ferrous alloy that increases the corrosion resistance of a substance by the addition of chrome and nickel. The principle is based on protecting the surface area by means of chrome-oxide and nickel-oxide molecules. These molecules are much larger than the underlying iron molecules, which prevents the latter from binding with oxygen and forming iron oxides – better known as rust.

Since stainless steel is not totally impervious to corrosion, it is recommended that the item be cleaned regularly with water and mild soap to prevent any stubborn stains building up. This will minimize the contamination of the surface areas, as well as the risk of contamination of the surface with iron particles.

• Teak is a dense, close grained hardwood with high natural oil content. 
• Teak is extremely resistant to the harsh elements and the ideal timber for outdoor use
• Maintenance is minimal and can be left outdoors year-round to weather naturally. While the rate of weathering varies depending on climate, moisture and exposure to sun (the weathering process will occur faster in moist climates and slower in dry climates).

To best maintain your HPCL furniture, simply clean the surface with a mild natural soap (liquid dish detergent), using a soft bristle brush, and rinse.
